The Aquilaria tree is more commonly referred to as Agarwood, eaglewood, gaharu, aloeswood and “Wood of the Gods”. These are just a few of the names for the resinous, fragrant highly valuable heartwood produced by aquilaria malaccensis.  

The trees are large evergreens native to South East Asia. Agarwood has a high value when it produces a dark aromatic resin, which is commonly called Oud.

Commercial uses: Medicinal, incense and perfumes.

The retail price of AAA vintage oud, strictly preserved under perfect conditions, is extremely expensive, over $1000 per tora, or $83,000/Litree

Our strategic partners have built their own Oud distilation factory

and control the complete value chain with a seed to oil strategy. They grow and manage agricultural Aquilaria tree plantations and then extract the Oil. By using the right expertise, knowledge & manpower it is possible to provide a consistently high standard and grade of Agar Oil in large volumes; with the security that the trees are located at managed plantations to ensure consistent feedstock supply to our factory.

This involves 35 plantations with over 20,000 mature Agar trees and working towards both ISO 9001 & Islamic Halal accreditations, Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certification.

We are able to provide Oid Oil on a commercial wholesale basis.
